Outdoor Recreation Training Beta Test

Participants in the new outdoor recreation programmers course pose for a photo on a mountain top in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The new 14-day, in-residence course was tested at USAFA July 30 – Aug. 12, by representatives from 10 installations. The new course is set to be delivered to installation outdoor rec employees in 2024 and covers swift water rescue, mountain biking, climbing, wilderness first aid and Leave No Trace.
