JASDF recognize 35th SFS for exercise "Guard and Protect"
Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) Lt. Col. Michinari Kugimoto, 3rd Air Wing Headquarters, Defense Section chief, presents a letter of appreciation to U.S. Air Force Maj. Jonathan Read, 35th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) commander, standing in on behalf of Bryan Presley, 35th SFS plans and programs chief, for coordinating and leading the bi-lateral exercise "Guard and Protect" at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Nov. 1, 2021. During this bi-lateral exercise, 30 members from the 35th SFS trained alongside 70 JASDF and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force members in various combat-readiness scenarios on base.
