JASDF recognize 35th SFS for exercise "Guard and Protect"

Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) Lt. Col. Michinari Kugimoto, 3rd Air Wing Headquarters, Defense Section chief, presents a letter of appreciation to U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Paul Deitz, 35th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) NCOIC of training, for coordinating and leading the bi-lateral exercise "Guard and Protect" at Misawa Air Base, Japan, Nov. 1, 2021. The 35th SFS trained JASDF and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force leadership on rehearsing leadership roles and tactics within a base defense structure during the exercise.
