Chief Master Sergeant Patrick L. Wilson is the Security Forces Manager, at the Headquarters Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC), Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. He is the senior enlisted member of this Air Force Field Operating Agency, with over 190 personnel assigned to four geographically separated areas. Chief Wilson oversees the drafting of policy and guidance for approval by the Air Force Director of Security Forces affecting more than 30,000 active duty, guard, and reserve component personnel. Chief Wilson serves as the senior enlisted mentor to all enlisted members assigned to the AFSFC, including members from 15 different Air Force specialties. He is also responsible for working with the Security Forces Career Field Manager and all Security Forces Functional Managers, ensuring synergy and unity of effort when creating and implementing Air Force Security Forces policy. Lastly, Chief Wilson advises more than 220 field Chiefs and commanders on matters of personal management, training, organization, resource allocation, and Integrated Defense doctrine.

Chief Wilson grew up in Oroville, California and entered the Air Force in June 1986 as a Security Police member. His background includes numerous leadership roles at the squadron, major command, combat theater, and forward operating agency levels. Chief Wilson has performed every facet of the security
forces mission, covering 10 duty locations spanning eight different countries. He and his wife of 24 years have two sons, both of which are American Airmen, serving in the Avionics and Security Forces career fields.
