CHIEF MASTER SGT. TAMALA L HARTZ

Chief Master Sergeant Tamala L. Hartz is the Security Forces Career Field Manager, Headquarters United States Air Force. In this capacity, she is the enlisted advisor to the Director of Security Forces providing advice covering the entire spectrum of security forces policy and guidance on organizing, training, equipping and maintaining mission ready security safeguards for air, space and cyberspace forces and capabilities for North American Aerospace Defense Command, U.S. Strategic Command and other combatant commands around the world. She is responsible for the effective management and development of 30,000 total force enlisted military personnel and mentors a 50-person staff

Chief Hartz is a native of Greeley, Colorado and entered the Air Force in August 1990, she has held numerous positions at the Group,Wing, NAF and MAJCOM levels. Before assuming her current position she served as the Security Forces Manager, Force Protection Directorate, United States Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT), Southwest Asia.
